A
lost bus pass must be replaced.
Replacement cost is $2.00.
Requests for replacement of lost
bus passes, change of
route/stop, any questions
regarding transportation, etc.,
can be made in the Attendance
Office or in the Magnet Office
for magnet students.
Late Buses
We provide LATE BUSES,, to allow
students involved in our
transportation programs to
remain on campus Mondays and/or
Wednesdays, from 3:00 p.m. -
4:00 p.m., to participate in
Youth Services activities,
clubs, organizations, and/or
tutoring. Students MUST sign an
"Activity Roster," by 3:10 p.m.,
each day they remain for an
after-school activity. The
student will receive a late bus
pass from the sponsor of the
activity and the student will
need to present this late bus
pass to the bus driver. Late bus
passes can only be used by the
student to whom it was
originally issued. Students who
lose passes or do not have one
will be seen by the Dean. Only
certain bus stops are made
during the late afternoons.
Check with bus driver for the
stop closest to your home.
MTA Bus Pass
Students enrolled at Holmes
Middle School may apply for an
MTA Student Identification Card.
With the purchase of a monthly
stamp, the student can obtain
considerable savings over
individual payment of bus fares.
Applications are available in
the Attendance Office. Make sure
all sections of the application
are completed, i.e., the student
information section, social
security number, parent and
school official signatures.
