We would like to take this time to say THANK YOU for all of your help and support that you have given to the Holmes Middle School Community and your children!
You are all truly AWESOME!!!

We have had a challenging and productive year academically!

Next year is going to be even more challenging due to the major budget cuts that have been instilled district wide. A letter was sent home with all 6th & 7th grade students asking for your help. We are asking for volunteers to commit to 1 day a week for 2 hours. Please think about how important it is and will be for your children and the school community.

If you haven’t noticed, the Parent Center bungalow is finally in progress. It’s been a long time coming and is very much needed. The Grand Opening will be sometime
in September or October. I look forward to seeing you all there!

How you can help us raise money so that our Eagles can Soar!

We have come up with some great and easy ways for us to try to supplement some of those costs. If you are not already signed up with Vons, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Target, Subway, etc. please do so. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! All you have to do is register your club cards for Holmes Middle School & a portion of your purchase will come back to the school. How easy is that?

We are asking that you please re-register your Club Cards.

Register your (e-scrip) Vons Community Club cards with group #164756104 on line or by completing the attached form and register your Ralph’s Card with the attached school bar code at your local store or on line using our NPO #91721, since these businesses will give a corporate donation back to the school based on your purchases, at no cost to you.

Sign up for the SchoolPAX Program. Subway, Verizon, Foot Locker, and much more. Come by the Main Office or Parent Center to pick up an envelope with the card and our ID # S59D, at no cost to you.
Don’t forget to use www.goodsearch.com every time you search and/or
buy something on line using good search.
They will donate $ to the school.

Every morning @ 8:00am!
We look forward seeing all of you as we get back into shape & show
our kids what we’re really made of!!!

“Survival Kits” are still on sale for $20.00.
I can’t stress enough on how important it is for ALL of us to be prepared in case of an emergency.

I would like to thank those of you who have come by the Parent Center to visit, help & volunteer. I invite all of you to come by.
