iPad Section
  • Upload Large Video Files without Google Drive
    When Google Drive/OneDrive won’t upload the large files, use a web browser and go to http://send-anywhere.com/
Two Options: (Videos)
  • Annotate a webpage on an iPad (VIDEO:CLICK HERE)
    • In Safari, go to the webpage
    • Tap on the SHARE icon (top-right - arrow up)
    • Tap MARKUP
    • Annotate/highlight/type in textbox
    • Save to Google Drive - Tap on the SHARE icon (top-right - arrow up)
    • Tap on Drive and save to your Drive
  • Start by going to https://lausd.zoom.us
  • Sign in using your LAUSD MyMail account
  • At the top right, click "JOIN A MEETING"
  • Enter the numerical Meeting ID (XXX XXXX XXXX), not the link from your Schoology Course
Remember to...
  • Use the Chrome browser or Firefox - Safari (on iPad/Macs) and Internet Explorer is not recommended
  • To authenticate user, go to https://lausd.zoom.us and sign in using your LAUSD MyMail account
  • Do not use the Zoom.us website or Zoom app that is not linked with LAUSD - you will not be able to login

This coming school year Holmes is proud to partner with Verizon and Digital Promise which provides all students and staff members with iPads and internet connection.


All parents/guardians and students are required to complete the forms (attached to the enrollment packet) and complete an online Parent Digital Citizenship course and the Student Digital Citizenship course before your child receives their iPad.


Both Parent and Student Digital Citizenship courses and completed forms are required.

  • Sign in or create an account using your parent's personal email.
  • IMPORTANT: When creating an account - in order to identify parent=student:
    • First Name field: (Parent's Last, First Name) 
    • Last Name field: (Student's Last, First Name)
