Description
 This year in 8th Grade English we will be studying all the genres — drama, short stories, novels, poetry, non-fiction, informational text, and essays, and as we continue to integrate learning across the curriculum, whenever possible, selections will parallel studies or themes in American history. Reading, writing, collaborative discussion, and analysis form the basis for this advanced course.
