Congratulations to the Holmes students who participated in the 2018-2019 PTSA Reflections art program. ALL participants are invited to attend an Ice Cream Sundae Party and Art Gallery at the PTSA meeting on Thursday, January 31st at 6:30 PM. Invitations will be sent home.

Mariachi Aguilas Club Auditions on Monday, February 4th at 3:25 p.m.!!!

Dear Holmes Eagles, due to a high volume of interested students Mariachi Aguilas will be holding auditions Monday, February 4th at 3:15pm. Auditions are open to all Holmes students and you will need to pick up an audition form and choose your audition time slot in room 303 before Friday. Once you have auditioned you will be dismissed and can check for results the next day posted outside room 303. After the audition on February 4th rehearsals will resume on February 6th every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:15pm in room 303. See you then, Go Eagles!

Advisories that Earned Non-Uniform Dress Day for 100% Participation in Parent School Experience Survey

Congratulations to the following advisories that earned a Non-Uniform Dress Day Friday, December 14, 2018!!!

Albaeck, Arellano, Banuelos, Greene, N, Karathanas, Kim, S, Kim, Y, Meza, Norris, Park, Sterrett, and Tabor.

Students MAY NOT WEAR any of the following items:
• Hats of any kind (No sports teams)
• Torn jeans (any style)
• Shorts/skirts/dresses more than 1 inch above the knee
• Leggings without skirt or shorts worn over the leggings
• Spaghetti strap shirts/blouses
• Tank tops, muscle shirts (sleeveless)
• Sheer/mesh fabric (anything see-through)
• Clothing with drug related or sexual images, inappropriate images/language
• Gang related apparel
• Sagging/over-sized pants or shorts
• Clothing that expose midriffs (stomach)
• Shirts or tops that expose cleavage
• Low cut V-neck shirt or open buttoned
• Open toed shoe/exposed heels or high heels
• Backless, halter, tube tops

Failure to follow the above school dress code policy will result in disciplinary actions.
