Progress Report vs. Schoology Grades

Some of you may be wondering why your child's 5 week progress report grades and Schoology grades are different.
Progress report shows your child's grades up to a 5 week cut-off date when grades had to be submitted into MISIS. (These are NOT their final grades) Schoology grades include items graded after the 5 week cut-off date.  Thus, it is more up-to-date and current.
Many students are improving their grades since the 5 week progress reports were done, which is fantastic news! They are getting the hang of things and understanding how they are being graded. Thank you for your home support!

Schoology grades are being posted!

I started posting grades in Schoology this week. This is a great place to keep track of student progress. You'll need to log in to your Passport account to access. If you don't see your grades right away, be patient as I'll be working throughout the week to update them.
Students, if you have questions about your grades, make sure you take initiative and ask me at a good time when I'm available. It is important that you take academic responsibility of your work more than your parents. If you need help, please ask me and/or your parents!

Hi Parents!
It was wonderful meeting so many of you at Back to School Night! I'm excited to see that many of you have subscribed to my website.
To clarify, please take a minute to subscribe to your child's class period if you haven't done so already. Homework is posted under each class period, not the homepage. Thanks!
