Parent and Family Engagement Policy & School-Parent Compact

The Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent Compact has been developed and approved by Title I parents for the 2019-20 school year. It has been mailed to the current address on file on November 20, 2019. It is also available on our school website in the Programs tab under Title I.

Each year LAUSD schools are required to review and revise a District and School Parent and Family Engagement Policy. This is then sent to all families of each Title I school. All parents are invited to review the School-Parent Compact. This policy and compact are reviewed annually by our school committees and provide all Title I parents the opportunity to participate. Holmes Middle School offered that opportunity for parents to review on Thursday, October 3, 2019. This meeting took place in the Parent Center at 3:15 p.m. through a written notice of invitation extended to the whole school.

In this mailing, we have included a copy of the revised Holmes Middle School Parent and Family Engagement Policy 2019-2020, a copy of the Los Angeles Unified School District Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and a revised copy of Holmes MS School-Parent Compact 2019-2020. These documents are yours to keep. They are solely for your information.
