Transportation is available to Magnet students who live beyond the 5 mile radius from the school. Students are mailed notification letters with route information by the Transportation Services Division in August before the school year begins. A lost bus pass must be replaced. Replacement cost is $2.00. Requests for replacement of lost bus passes, change of route/stop, any questions regarding transportation, etc., can be made in the Counseling Office or in the Magnet Office for magnet students. The routes used have been established and do not change. Students get off and board buses at the Holmes Bus Gate on Vincennes Avenue on the north side of the campus.
MTA Bus Pass
Students enrolled at Holmes Middle School may apply for an MTA Student Identification Card. With the purchase of a monthly stamp, the student can obtain considerable savings over individual payment of bus fares. Applications are available online from the Transportation Services Division on the LAUSD website at http://achieve.lausd.net/Page/3827
or from the MTA website at http://www.metro.net/riding/fares/students-k-8-and-9-12/
